| Challenged constantly to keep up with the
demands of PETA’s rapid growth, Karen never compromises
her high standards. Her experience and innovative approaches
have increased our effectiveness in all phases of our work,
from our grassroots campaigns to our humane education materials.
“I’m very proud of PETA’s library,”
she says. “When I came to PETA in 1986, the library
consisted of a small bookshelf, a few disorganized filing
cabinets, and some boxes of magazines—all sitting in
the hallway. Now it’s a major resource for animal activists
worldwide.”
Karen also takes great pride in PETA’s published materials
and is committed to ensuring not only that they are error-free,
but also that they consistently demonstrate the highest levels
of clarity of expression and quality of presentation.
